Chevron B34 Formula Atlantic (Chassis no: 34-76-21)
Extensively rebuilt & restored 2020-2022 including the BDA engine receiving a full rebuild at Craig Beck Racing including many new parts, zero miles since.
FT200 gearbox checked over (gearbox previously maintained by JP Silverstone).
Repainted bodywork.
New ATL Technology fuel cell installed 2020 and new AP Lockheed front calipers fitted March 2024.
Competitive car at circa 445kg.
Research by OldRacingCars.com suggests that this was the Fred Opert Team Car, initially purchased to run in North America (Formula Atlantic IMSA) and Canada (CASC Player's Challenge Series). In January 1977, Opert took a team out to the New Zealand Formula Pacific series, and chassis 76-21 was identified as the car raced there by Keke Rosberg, winning 3 of the 5 races.
Not used since 2020 shakedown, so needs updated HTP papers, seat belts and extinguisher. Otherwise the car is ready to race in many places both in the UK and Europe with HSCC Dereck Bell Trohpy, Equipe Formula Libre, Jochen Rindt Trophy, as well as being a particularly cost effective way of entering the Euro F2 Championship.

Fully rebuilt in 2024 including all new wishbones, pushrods, rockers with new bearings and rod ends. Tub checked. Uprights recromated with new wheel bearings. New radiator, water pipes and header tank. New fuel pump and filters. Wheels re powder coated. New brake pads. Extinguisher serviced. Master cylinders serviced. Clutch check and Gearbox check over. Koni dampers.
Engine and gearbox previously rebuilt before chassis rebuild and no use since, checked on rolling road before chassis rebuild carried out.
